- Really? 10th warmest ever? Over a 140 year period? Wow! This is huge news! So, it wasn't the hottest, or 2nd, 3rd, 4th ... they had to go all the way to 10th to make a headline. And, it was cool in some places and warm in others. Wow! Just Wow!

- Gotta love the gun control arguments, like there is a "law" we can pass to prevent things like this, or even a set of laws. Sure, we need laws. Actually, we have gun laws ... tons of them! But what boggles my mind is that people cling to the thought that laws actually apply to people like this.
